Airtel Axis Bank Credit Card review
Useful for Airtel customers who also put ₹15,000 to ₹25,000 a month of regular spending on the card, which unlocks the bill cashback. If you only want it for bills, the April 2026 caps make it far less rewarding.
Fees
₹500 a year + GST. Renewal fee waived on ₹2 lakh spend in the card year, not counting rent and wallet loads. Forex markup 3.5%.
Rewards
Cashback is credited to the card statement; partner value-back goes to the partner's wallet
- Swiggy & Zomato: 10% – 10% value-back on Zomato (orders of ₹499+), up to ₹200 a month, credited to the Zomato wallet; Swiggy earns the 1% base
- Groceries: 10% – 10% value-back on Blinkit (orders of ₹499+), up to ₹200 a month in the Blinkit wallet; other grocery apps earn 1%
- Fuel: 0%
- Bills: 10% – Since 12 Apr 2026: 25% on Airtel mobile, broadband and DTH bills and 10% on other bills, only when paid in the Airtel Thanks app. Airtel cashback is capped at twice, and other-bill cashback at once, the 1% base cashback you earn that statement month. Bills paid elsewhere earn nothing
- Rent: 0%
- Insurance: 0%
- Education: 0%
- UPI with a credit card: 1% – RuPay variant can be used on UPI; assumed to earn the 1% base
- Everything else: 1%
On a typical spending pattern this card gives back about ₹10,560 a year.
