Best RuPay credit cards for UPI in India

Ranked for ₹10,000 a month paid by scanning UPI QR codes with a RuPay credit card. Only cards that work on UPI are listed.

  1. 1. Airtel Axis Bank Credit Card

₹500 a year + GST · about ₹3,600 a year after fees on this spending.

Useful for Airtel customers who also put ₹15,000 to ₹25,000 a month of regular spending on the card, which unlocks the bill cashback. If you only want it for bills, the April 2026 caps make it far less rewarding.

  2. 2. Scapia Federal Bank Credit Card

Lifetime free · about ₹2,400 a year after fees on this spending.

A strong free card for anyone who travels, especially abroad, because it charges no forex markup and pays about 2% in travel coins on everyday spends. If you never book trips, the coins are hard to use, so a plain cashback card will suit you better.

  3. 3. ICICI Bank HPCL Super Saver Credit Card

₹500 a year + GST · about ₹2,100 a year after fees on this spending.

Suits someone who fills about ₹5,000 a month at HPCL pumps and wants a cheap card that pays for itself. The tight caps make it a poor main card for anything beyond fuel.

  4. 4. Kiwi RuPay Credit Card (YES Bank Klick)

Lifetime free · about ₹2,100 a year after fees on this spending.

Worth getting if you pay at shops by scanning UPI QR codes, since it turns those payments into 1.5% back at no cost. If you mostly shop online or pay bills, its 0.5% rate is weak, so pair it with a better card.

  5. 5. Tata Neu Infinity HDFC Bank Credit Card

₹1,499 a year + GST · about ₹1,561 a year after fees on this spending.

A good all-rounder for people who already shop at Tata brands like BigBasket, Croma or Tata CLiQ, since 1.5% on everything else and a 2% forex markup are solid. Skip it if you never use the Tata Neu app, because NeuCoins are hard to use well outside it.

  6. 6. BPCL SBI Card OCTANE

₹1,499 a year + GST · about ₹510 a year after fees on this spending.

Worth it if you fill up at BPCL every month and also eat out or buy groceries on the card, since the welcome points pay for the fee in year one. Light drivers or people who use other fuel brands will get little from it.

  7. 7. OneCard Metal Credit Card

Lifetime free · about ₹360 a year after fees on this spending.

A tidy free card for someone who wants a metal card, a good app and a low 1% forex markup. Its rewards are modest: about 1% only on your top two categories and 0.2% elsewhere. People chasing high rewards on shopping or bills will do better with other cards.
